5 tips to keep your toddler entertained while nursing your baby

Read books together. That is something that can easily be done while breastfeeding and that I have done many times at bedtime!

Play the "find something" game. While seating on the sofa or on your nursing chair, ask your toddler to find something... red, blue, squared shaped, triangle shaped, etc. in the room. Guaranteed to keep him/her entertained without you having to move one finger.

Play shop/restaurant. Place your grocery list or meal order with your child and and let him/her pretend to shop or prepare the food. That can be done with a play kitchen or even with playdough and imagination!

Keep him/her entertained with stickers. Give them a pile of stickers and a notebook to stick them on. My son loves car stickers so I have been drawing roads on the notebook so he can place the cars on it.

And finally, ask your child some "help". Toddlers love to be helpful. Even if you don't need anything ask them to help you by bringing accessible things: a baby toy, your phone, etc.
